About the Conference
The Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIMB) is proud to announce the 9th edition of its Biennial Supply Chain Management Conference, organized by the Supply Chain Management Centre (SCMC) – a Centre of Excellence of the institute. This significant event will take place on December 11–12, 2025, and aims to bring together academic researchers, industry professionals, and policymakers to discuss and explore the latest challenges and opportunities in supply chain management.
This conference serves as a platform for sharing research insights, industry experiences, and practical solutions. Attendees can expect a variety of engaging formats, including keynote sessions, paper presentations, panel discussions, and workshops.
Conference Theme
Today’s supply chains are being reshaped by several critical factors, including sustainability goals, rapid technological advancements—particularly in the realm of Generative AI—and shifting geopolitical dynamics. In light of these transformations, the theme for this year’s conference is:
“Geopolitics, Sustainability, and GenAI: Navigating the New Age of Supply Chain”

- Extended Abstract Submission Opens (word limit 1500): June 15, 2025
- Extended Abstract Submission Ends: August 15, 2025
- Abstract Acceptance Notification: September 15, 2025
- Full Paper Submission (only for Ph.D. Student Paper Competition): October 15, 2025
- Full Paper Acceptance Notification (only for Ph.D. Student Paper Competition): October 31, 2025
- Conference Registration Opens: October 1, 2025
- Conference Registration Last Date: November 30, 2025
Registration Fee
The registration fees for the conference are structured as follows:

Venue
The two-day conference will be conducted in person at the IIM Bangalore campus.
Accommodation
Limited accommodation is available at the Management Development Centre (MDC) at IIM Bangalore on a first-come, first-served basis. The applicable tariff, inclusive of all three meals, is as follows:
- Rs 5,000 plus GST per room for single occupancy
- Rs 3,750 plus GST per person for dual occupancy
Participants will need to settle their bills at the time of check-out. If you are interested in booking accommodation at MDC, please email your request, including the number of nights required, to scmc.conf.2025@iimb.ac.in.
