He noted, “The Institute annually caters to the knowledge needs of about six thousand five hundred learners from across the globe through on-campus, online, and blended offerings.”

Prof. Marisetty elaborated on the national and international collaborations that IIM-V has established, emphasizing the Institute’s growing impact and scale. He stated, “IIMV aims to double the capacity of its flagship MBA programme, facilitated by the steady growth in faculty strength, which now stands at nearly 50.”

Focus on Entrepreneurship and Innovation

Prof. M Chandrasekhar, the Director of IIM-V, further emphasized the Institute’s commitment to nurturing leadership and innovation. He remarked, “As an institution of national importance, we are committed to educating and nurturing entrepreneurial leaders capable of creating innovative solutions for business, government, and society, with a local focus and a whole-of-nation outlook.”

He also mentioned that IIMV-FIELD, the Foundation for Incubation, Entrepreneurial Learning and Development, has successfully nurtured more than one hundred and eighty start-ups and mentored over five hundred aspiring entrepreneurs. The Atal Incubation Centre, supported by NITI Aayog, is set to strengthen this ecosystem further, positioning IIM Visakhapatnam as a national hub for innovation and inclusive enterprise.

Inauguration of Faculty Housing Complex

Earlier in the day, MP Sribharat inaugurated the faculty housing complex at IIM-V. This development is part of the Institute’s efforts to enhance its infrastructure and provide better facilities for its faculty members. Following the inauguration, he took a brief tour of the campus, observing the various facilities and initiatives in place.
