The NCET ITEP 2026 represents a significant expansion in teacher education in India, with 223 participating institutes. These institutions are recognized by the NCTE and include notable IITs such as IIT Kharagpur, IIT Bhubaneswar, IIT Ropar, and IIT Jodhpur. The program covers all four educational stages: foundational, preparatory, middle, and secondary.
