Phased Introduction of Quantum Concepts

The Chief Minister directed officials to implement awareness programs at the school level, targeting students in Classes 7, 8, and 9. Infrastructure Development

To support this initiative, the Education Department has been tasked with establishing computer laboratories in schools across the state. Naidu believes that such initiatives will encourage entrepreneurial thinking among students and help them emerge as future industrial leaders.

Training and Skill Development

As part of the initiative, Naidu emphasized the effective utilization of the Centre’s National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning. He directed officials to ensure that over 50,000 technology students receive training in quantum-related skills. The curriculum for quantum technology is expected to be finalized by January 2026, paving the way for the implementation of these courses in schools.

Expansion of 5G Services

During the meeting, discussions also included the expansion of true 5G services in the state, with officials from BSNL participating in the dialogue. The integration of advanced communication technology is seen as essential for supporting the learning and application of quantum technology and AI in educational settings.
