IIM Rohtak Invites Applications for Five-Year Integrated Law Programme

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Rohtak has announced the opening of applications for its Integrated Programme in Law (IPL) for the academic session 2026-31. This five-year program combines business management with law, providing students with a comprehensive education that prepares them for careers in various sectors.

About the Integrated Programme in Law (IPL)

The IPL is an interdisciplinary program designed to equip students with an in-depth understanding of both business management and legal education. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will receive an integrated degree of BBA-LLB. The program is structured over 15 terms, spanning five years, with each year consisting of three terms, each lasting three months.

The curriculum includes a blend of courses in business management and legal education, ensuring that students gain a well-rounded knowledge base. Additionally, students will have opportunities to participate in several internships throughout the course of the program, enhancing their practical experience and employability.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the IPL, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • A minimum of 60% marks in both Standard X/SSC and Standard XII/HSC or equivalent examinations. For SC, ST, and DAP category candidates, the minimum requirement is 55%.
  • The applicant’s age should not exceed 20 years as of June 30, 2026.
  • Candidates who are expected to complete their Standard XII/HSC or equivalent by the end of June 2026 may also apply, provided they meet the eligibility criteria after the declaration of results.
  • The percentage of marks will be calculated based on the aggregate marks of the best five subjects in the mark sheet/grade sheet, irrespective of the Board’s regulations.

Selection Process

The selection of applicants will be based on their scores from one of the following entrance examinations:

  • CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) 2026: Candidates who have appeared for CLAT 2026 can register on IIM Rohtak’s IPL registration portal using their CLAT Application Number. A registration fee of Rs. 4,937/- is required.
  • IPM Aptitude Test (AT) 2026: Candidates who did not take CLAT 2026 can apply for IPL by taking the IPM AT 2026, conducted by IIM Rohtak. During the registration process, candidates must select the IPL option along with the Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) and pay a registration fee of Rs. 4,937/-. The IPM AT 2026 is tentatively scheduled for May 10, 2026, starting at 9 AM.

IPM AT 2026 Examination Structure

The IPM AT 2026 will consist of four sections with multiple-choice questions:

  • Section 1: Quantitative Ability (40 questions), Logical Reasoning (40 questions), Verbal Ability (40 questions) – 120 minutes.
  • Section 2: Legal Reasoning (20 questions) – 20 minutes.

Each question will carry 4 marks, with a negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect answer.

Personal Interview

Shortlisted applicants will be invited for a personal interview based on their eligibility criteria and scores from CLAT 2026 or IPM AT 2026. The announcement for the Call for Personal Interviews (PI) is expected by the end of May 2026 (tentative). The interviews will assess candidates on their academic background, general awareness, and communication skills, and are proposed to take place in the first or second week of June 2026 (tentative).

Merit List and Admission Offer

The final merit list for admissions will be prepared based on the following weightage:

  • Aptitude Test Score (CLAT/IPM AT) – 55
  • Personal Interview (PI) – 15
  • Past Academics (Xth /SSC or Equivalent) – 10
  • Past Academics (XII/HSC or Equivalent) – 20

All selected candidates will receive a provisional offer letter for admission via email from ipladmission@iimrohtak.ac.in shortly after the merit list is declared.

Application Process

Interested candidates can submit their applications online at www.iimrohtak.ac.in. The last date for submission of online applications through CLAT 2026 or IPM AT 2026 is April 6, 2026.

The total number of seats available for the IPL Batch 06 (Session 2026-31) is 120. Admission offers will be made strictly based on the merit/rank list and the availability of seats in each category (General, SC, ST, NC-OBC, EWS, and DAP) in accordance with the Government of India’s reservation rules.

Fee Structure

The fee for the first four years of the program is Rs. 6,42,000/- per year. For the fifth year, the fee will be Rs. 6,79,450/-.
